Quilt Basting Price
Do you enjoy the process of quilting on your own machine but really struggle with making your quilt sandwich? Having a long arm quilter baste it for you might be the solution you are looking for.
Your quilt can be basted together using the long arm and frame. Instead of pins going into your quilt, you get very long stitches. These stitches are easy to remove as you go. My machine has three different basting stitch lengths and I can add a stitch in manually as well. The process is really the same as long arming any quilt. I pin the backing to the cloth leaders, roll it up and then drop stitches in rows and columns that might be about 5-7” apart. Once your quilt is all basted, I take it off the frame and return it to you for your quilting pleasure.
I do have a minimum charge of $60. If you want several smaller quilts basted consider using the same backing and batting so they count as “one” quilt. The minimum charge has more to do with the time it takes for set up and removing the quilt off the frame.
